In our family we all love soups, providing they are home-made.
My husband and children have never been used to tinned soups and I know they would turn
their noses up if that was served to them. My daughter,
Hayley, eats left-over soup for breakfast.
My husband
and I once went to a lovely smorgasbord restaurant in Perth called
Miss Maud's. The soups were so divine that my husband went
back for more soup even after he had finished his desserts.
Economical And Hearty Soups
Soup is one of the cheapest dishes to make and it can be so
filling. Start a meal off with soup and you can cut back on
the size of the main course and hence save money. Soups are so
healthy and nourishing too. For a quick and satisfying lunch try a big bowl
of soup with some wholemeal bread dunked in. Deliciousssss!
