Pauline's Fruit Crumble Topping
This topping is lovely on top of any stewed fruit. If you like the flavour of Anzac Biscuits then you will like this recipe. I particularly enjoy it with a combination of berries and apple, stewed together. Combine it with some yummy hot custard poured over the top and it is a winner for me.

100 gm (3 and half ounces) melted butter or margarine
Your choice of stewed fruit.
Pre heat oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
Place the stewed fruit in a greased baking dish and set aside.
Cool the melted butter and mix with all the remaining ingredients. Sprinkle the crumble over the fruit but don't press down hard. Cook at 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit) for half an hour.
Any stewed fruit such as apples, plums, rhubarb or gooseberries would make good substitutions. This dessert is lovely served with custard or ice cream.
