Kwiksy-Mixy Biscuits
 

When you are in a hurry these cookies are the way to go.  Nothing could be quicker or easier.

They are excellent with a nice hot cuppa or packed in lunch boxes.

 

   

Easy biscuit recipe - Kwiksy Mix Biscuits

 


To convert any of these ingredients into US measurements please use this Quantity Conversion Chart.

 

Ingredients:

1 cup self raising flour
1/2 cup plain flour
1/4 cup quick cooking oats
2/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/3 cup small choc bits
150 gm (5 ounces) butter or margarine
1 egg, beaten

Method:

Pre heat oven to 180 degrees Celsius.

Combine flours, oats and sugar in a bowl.

   

Melt butter.  Cool slightly.  Add butter and egg to flour mixture.  Stir in the choc bits.

Place teaspoonfuls on greased baking tray.  Cook at 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit) for about 15 minutes.

Notes:

If you don't have choc bits then replace them with chopped nuts or simply chop up some block chocolate.
